An awesome song to a super awesome movie - Fight Club. Song is called “Where is my mind”and it’s by a band called Pixies. This movie was life changing to me. Learned so much from it. If you haven’t seen the movie, please go watch it and see what kind of effect it has on your thinking.
For now, enjoy this insane song and original music video. I just realized it’s been exactly 10 years since this movie and song came out. I also just remembered that I was in Universal Studios (As a tourist) back in the day and saw Brad Pitt doing a scene in that red jacked he wears in the movie. It’s funny because I had no idea what movie it was back than (I was just a kid) - but it was Fight Club.
Do I even need to say anything about his song? Do I? Well this is just one of the many many songs why Metallica is one of the greatest bands of all time. Their are not many bands that have such a global impact - considering these guys are a heavy metal / hard rock band (Not pop) - their influence in the US and on an international level is simply untouchable. It’s all because of songs like this.
This Metallica at it’s best and even today they are coming out with some amazing songs. Even if you’ve never heard their music, I bet you’ve seen their band logo somewhere. This song is called ‘unforgiven’ and this is the unforgiven music video - the official one. Song is from ‘The Black’ album. Beautiful
Can you believe it that I actually heard this song at my very first Junior High School dance? I don’t know what the organizers were thinking but it was pretty hilarious.
This is ‘rape me’ by Nirvana. Nirvana is the only artist in the history of music who invented a brand new genre and when they died, they took it with them. Nobody has achieved that! I’m talking about grunge of course.
I can go on and on about Nirvana but I think if you don’t know Nirvana, than just stop listening to music right now.
